Performance Boxing for Fitness Professionals

Advanced Performance Boxing for the Fitness Professional has been designed to give trainers and instructors who have passed the Performance Boxing Course advanced skills in padding, punching and conditioning.
The advanced performance boxing course enables trainers to:
- Deliver advanced punching and padding techniques
- Introduce defensive techniques such as slipping, ducking, rolling and blocking
- Deliver the above in a manner that is both safe and effective for the trainer and their clients
- Design their own boxing style workouts that will keep their clients challenged, making progress and keep them coming back
- Keep their sessions exciting, fun and results based

B.J. Rule
BJ Rule, education director for the Optimal Life Fitness Group, has always had an interest in boxing and the components of fitness that boxing develops. This interest and passion was first developed during off season rugby league training as a teenager. It was then progressed through years of training and utilised as a means of cross training. In 2005 BJ received his ABA boxing licence and had his first fight. Since then he has continued to train utilising pad and bag work in both his own training and with his personal training clients.
A.J. Philips
Head trainer of the Optimal Life Fitness Group, Andy has developed his boxing skills throughout his personal training career. He is now in training with the ABA to achieve one of his ultimate goals of getting in the ring for real! He’s currently training with some of the UK’s top ABA coaches to hone his fighting skills. His understanding behind boxing in the ring and in the personal training field is second to none. He successfully runs group boxing sessions and PT sessions on a weekly basis for the Group.

The Advanced Performance Boxing Course is available to Personal Trainers, Fitness Professionals, Boxing Coaches and Strength and Conditioning Coaches.
To gain REPs accreditation trainers must be REPs level 2 or 3
Terms and Conditions for the Performance Boxing Course
Within this document ‘we, our, company, company’s’ refers to Optimal Life Fitness Ltd and ‘you’ refers to the client. PB refers to the Performance Boxing Course.
- Payment for the PB must be made in full prior to the course start.
- To reserve a place on the PB course payment must be made in full
- Optimal Life Fitness ltd does not accept deposits for the PB course, payment must be made in full.
- Optimal Life Fitness Ltd does not offer a refund once payment for a PB course has been made.
- Optimal Life Fitness Ltd reserves the right to move a course to a different date at the company’s discretion and decision. You will not be refunded for this change but will be offered a course at a later date.
- If you cannot attend the course you have booked you must inform Optimal Life Fitness Ltd up to 14 days before the course start date. You will then be offered another course at a later date. We will not refund any monies paid. You will only have this option once, if you cancel the next course we are not expected to offer you another place on a future course.
- If you cancel your place on the PB within 14 days of the course start date, we will not refund any monies paid.
- If you cancel your place on the PB within 14 days of the course start date we are not expected to offer you a place on a future course.
