OLF Newsletter - Issue 87

In this week's issue I have a review of the Trojans Kettlebell Sport Training Camp with Gregor Sobocan, which we held last week, a quick review of the Kettlebell Sport Competition, more news on our new courses, Fitpro, Bodypwer and more.

Fitpro and Launch of New Courses including EMT

I mentioned our new courses last week and can now announce that the OLF Education Team will now be providing the EMT Effective Movement Training Course. Kettlebell Sport Training Camp
Last week we held a Kettlebell Sport Training Camp, which was great success. To read a full review, please visit here.

Kettlebell Sport Competition
Last Sunday we had our biggest Kettlebell Sport Competition yet. We had 34 competitors including people and teams from Ireland, Wales, Germany and Slovenia as well as the UK, Hungary, Slovakia and Australia. Congratulations go to Trojan Tim Joseph who was the overall men's winner and Mateja Legan of the SKC who was the women's winner. I'm just sorting through all the pics and clips now so will have more next week. But well done to all. This sport will only get bigger and bigger

Bodypower Expo
The Trojans will be at the Bodypower Expo on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd of May. We'll be running sport demonstrations, if you're keen to get involved please let me know.

Our upcoming courses include a Performance Boxing Course in Belfast on the 17th April plus our EKI in London on the Saturday and Sunday. OLF Newsletter - Issue 86

This week we have information on what's been going on and what's coming up.

As an overview: last weekend we had our EKI course in Belfast, we hosted Steve Cotter and the IKFF course at our training venue, we're midway through a Kettlebell Sport Training Camp with Gregor Sobocan, we have our Advancd EKI on Saturday and a Kettlebell Sport Training Camp on Sunday. We've also got a lot coming up over the next couple of months: Come visit us at Fitpro in April where we'll be launching our new courses including our AST (Advanced Suspension Training) and our Speed, Agility and Plyometric Training Course, moving forward we can announce that we’ve confirmed a 6hour training Workshop with Steve Maxwell.

Fitpro and Launch of New Courses
We'll be at Fitpro again this year so make sure you come and visit us. We'll also be running a Masterclass which is already half full and can only hold 150 people, so if you want to attend the session get in touch with Fitpro now! At Fitpro we'll be launching our 2 new courses, these will be our Advanced Suspension Training (AST Course) and our Speed, Agility and Plyometric Training Course, watch this space for more information.

Steve Maxwell's Mixed Workshop
We’re happy to announce that Steve Maxwell is confirmed to run a day training workshop on the 10th July. Steve was the first non Brazilian to earn a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt and he is a prioneer in bodyweight and mobility training. I'll have more information in the coming weeks.

AEKI and Kettlebell Sport Competition
We have our AEKI this Saturday followed by a Kettlebell Sport Competition on Sunday. We have over 40 competitors registered. The Kettlebell Sport Competition is now full. However you are more than welcome to come and have a look.

OLF Newsletter - 4th March Issue 84

In this weeks issue we have the OLF Training Centre's timetable, a look at all the special guests we have coming to our venue, our courses that are coming to you, an article on Kettlebells and Fighters and a couple of reminders.

OLF Training Centre Timetable
We now have our weekly timetable all sorted out. We've even had sessions running this week. As of next week our timetable will be running in full. If you can get to south east London and you’d like to try your hand at Parkour, Kettlebell Sport, Weightlifting or Muay Thai then you should. Follow this link to check out what's on when.
Look who's coming in 2010…

As well as providing our own courses, when we moved into our own location we wanted to get people we respected into our venue. So far we can confirm that Steve cotter of the IKFF will be running his cert at the OLF Training Centre on the 13th and 14th March. We have Gregor Sobocan of the WKC running a Kettlebell Sport Training camp from the 17th to the 19th March and I can now confirm that Steve Maxwell will be running a seminar here at a date to be confirmed soon. We also have a Kettlebell Sport Competition on the 21st March. There’s a lot going on and more to be announced!
