OLF Newsletter - Issue 90

In this weeks issue we have a round-up of our time at Fitpro last weekend, a link to Steve Maxwell's workshop and how to pay, more news on the upcoming Bodypower Sports Expo and a clip of a circuit that we tried the other week.

Fitpro
As we told you in previous newsletters we were at the Fitpro convention last weekend. Tommy delivered a Kettlebell Masterclass on the Friday afternoon which had 120 people swinging away. To check out a clip please visit here. As Tommy said there were "120 swingers under one roof!".

Bodypower Expo
The Trojans lifting Club will be in conjunction with Steve Cotter running Kettlebell Sport Demonstrations at the Bodypower Expo on the 22nd and 23rd of May. Please contact me if you are interested in participating. We'll also be giving Bulgarian Bag demonstrations on the Saturday afternoon.

Steve Maxwell info
Steve Maxwell is one of the most sought after Strength and Conditioning and Performance coaches in the world. Steve is running a workshop at the OLF Training Centre on the 10th July. To find out what the workshop will involve please visit here. Once on the Trojans site follow the link to how you can pay and register.

Try this circuit
Tommy and myself did a bit of training last week and we did 4 rounds of 10 of each of the following: 24kg KBell Snatches, Russian Twists, Powerbag Burpees and Hanging knee raises. One worked while the other rested. To take a look at one of Tommy's rounds visit here.

Educational Courses 2010
Our courses now include: Extreme Kettlebell Instructor, AEKI, Olympic Weightlifting, Performance Boxing, APB, Advanced Strap Training (AST), EMT (Effective Movement Training) and we have more that will be announced shortly. We have put out our timetable and lists for our educational courses in 2010. If you want to attend any of our courses in 2010 you had best get in quick. Keep lifting and stay strong,
