Bath EKI Course at Body Development

Last weekend saw me take the trip to Bath for the Extreme Kettlebell Course, which was held at possibly the best training centre I've been to!

13 trainers came on the course, all with varied backgrounds and experiences with kettlebells. We started off on Saturday nice and early in the morning with the intro's, it was good to see that we had so many trainers who had actually been using bells and came on the course to learn more. With a great atmosphere throughout the 2 days, everyone ended up working really hard and even got involved with some juggling on Sunday afternoon. With everyone's hands, arms and bodies shattered we rapped up with a few demos and then it was off home.
Firstly thank you to everyone for working hard and making it another enjoyable weekend for me. Secondly and this brings me onto the next part of this review. Thank you to Tom and Karen for hosting the course at their Body Development Studio and what a studio it was!
On Saturday morning as I pulled up outside, the shutters rolled up and the words "Jesus, if Carlsberg did gyms" came out of my mouth! What an outstanding place to train, there was literally everything I have ever wanted to train with all in one room. From Olympic Lifting, Odd bars, thick bars, Kettlebells, power bags, strongman equipments, yokes, tyres, monkey bars, rings, climbing ropes, a boxing ring, clubs, grip strength trainers and so much more! I couldn't believe how good it was, I was like a kid in a candy store, trying everything, picking up whatever I could get my hands on! Needless to say I asked Tom to show me around straight away and after that, over the 2 days, every opportunity I had I'd be trying something else. I'll definitely be going back there to do some training. For anyone who is serious about training check out their website:

Thanks to all for a great weekend.
